fincon

Later this week, financial bloggers and media will gather in San Diego for the annual FinCon event. The conference attracts people from all over to share their ideas and learn more about the latest trends in personal finance and investing.

There’s no shortage of change happening in the investing world. With new innovation and platforms, like ours, opening up new asset classes to investors, there’s always something new to learn. Each of the bloggers, podcasters and other media going to the conference takes a different approach to things like how to manage finances, new investment options they’ve evaluated and how to be frugal but still live a rewarding life of financial freedom. With names in attendance like Side Hustle Nation, Wall Street Survivor, Wallet Hacks, Money Q&A and Investor Junkie, I’m certainly excited to see what I can learn from everyone.

Meet Us At FinCon 2016

PeerStreet first learned about the FinCon from our friends Mr. Money Mustache and Jesse Mecham of YNAB. As they learned more about PeerStreet, they suggested the event as a good opportunity for us to introduce PeerStreet to the personal finance blogosphere and educate those interested in what we’re doing, as well as a chance to meet some very cool and extremely bright people. We agreed.

Co-founder and COO, Brett Crosby, and I will be meeting with a variety of people Wednesday through Friday. If you’re in the personal finance community, will be at FinCon and want to learn more about PeerStreet, we’d be more than happy to sit down with you. You can reach out to me directly at jessica@peerstreet.com.
