We’ve added great talent to our real estate team recently. Marc Heenan is the latest to join as PeerStreet’s Head of Commercial Originations and Asset Management. He oversees the team that identifies and on-boards loan origination partners.
Marc joins our real estate team alongside Jay Hartman, Head of Finance and Investments, and Dan Graham, Head of Partner Relations and Onboarding. Marc has plenty of experience in real estate, including his most recent position as First Vice President in OneWest Bank’s Commercial Real Estate Group. His roles at OneWest spanned sourcing originations in the bank’s bridge lending program and overseeing a portfolio of distressed legacy commercial real estate loans. Prior to OneWest Bank, Marc co-founded a firm which invested in distressed commercial real estate loans and also worked at Kennedy-Wilson and Merrill Lynch. He received a BA in History and Political Science and an MBA from UCLA. Go Bruins!
