Getting the right legal experts involved with a crowdfunding marketplace is key to effectively managing such a business. PeerStreet recently added a veteran of real estate law to the team and serves as our General Counsel.

Sara Priola has more than 13 years of real estate experience and will be responsible for leading PeerStreet’s legal operations, including oversight of the company’s risk management, compliance, regulatory, licensing, privacy, contracts and real estate transactional matters. Most recently, she was a real estate finance attorney at Dechert LLP where she specialized in leading multi-office teams in complex real estate financing transactions and securitizations. Sara also practiced at Greenberg Traurig LLP where she advised lenders, borrowers and developers in a variety of real estate transactions. When Sara is not heading up PeerStreet’s legal team, she loves experimenting in the kitchen and invents new dishes sourced solely from local farmers’ markets.
