What does “reinvest small balances” mean?

By selecting this option, funds available in your account (in increments of $100 or more) are eligible to be invested through Automated Investing (you must have Automated Investing turned “on” to participate). After you receive interest payments, you might not have enough to reach the standard $1,000 minimum to manually invest in a new loan. Rather than have it sit in your account, this feature allows you to automatically reinvest any amount of at least $100 in new loans. This helps you to take advantage of compounded returns (i.e., earn interest on your interest) and can further diversify your portfolio.
